Story Level 8 — Helicopter

Win condition: Kill 40 beans OR shoot the helicopter until it goes down. Boss: Major Firepower's Helicopter (final boss).

How to beat it

  1. Pick your win condition: kill 40 beans total, or just hammer the helicopter until it's destroyed. Either one ends the level.
  2. Never touch the propeller. The spinning blades on top of the chopper kill you instantly on contact — stay low and to the sides.
  3. Duck the bullets. The helicopter and its dropped beans throw a wall of fire; crouch and weave instead of trading shots head-on.
  4. Focus fire the chopper when it's exposed, then drop back behind cover when the bean waves come in.

Boss strategy: Major Firepower's Helicopter (final boss)

  • The hourglass-ammo trick is the cheese: equip the slow-motion Hourglass super ammo and fire just six shots on the ground near the chopper. Slow-mo makes the dodge trivial.
  • No hourglass? Pure dodging works too — one player reports destroying the chopper three times just by staying calm and reading the bullet patterns.
  • Killing all 40 beans is the safer route if the helicopter keeps out-tanking your gun.

Tips

  • The hourglass tactic needs the unlocked version with bullets purchased — buy ammo first if you want the easy clear.
  • Bring high-tier super ammo. The Beam Splitter Laser and Fire Bomb shred the chopper far faster than base rounds.
